Pre Work
Carrying forward the work of FVL-2, I created a half cut carrot using thermocol and tissue paper. The form of carrot is a basically a not so smooth cone. It has a lot of cuts/small ridges along the body; usually they have 'hair' on the body.
Originally i approached the idea of the 3D model by using PoP (plaster of paris) to make a mould, and filling it in with Paper Pulp and Rice (cooked and mushed, as an adhesive).
Sadly the form didn't take the desired shape in time. I then decided to use the thermocol and tissue paper as a last resort. I used water colors to paint it and bring it to life.
