Introduction: Today's activity revolved around the idea of 'If such a situation was actually true, and we evolved as a race with the imagined context, how would our world have looked like?'
The scenario we were given was 'What if humans beings had tails?" Here's my group's take on that situation.
Social Changes Tails could be used as selfie sticks. Fist-bumps/High-five would be replaced with a 'Hind-punch'
Lifestyle Changes Bottoms/Pants would have holes at the back for the tails. Small pouches to curl-up the tail would be a thing. 'Tail shampoos/conditioners/oils' would be marketed as necessities.
Physiological Changes Wrapping ones tail around themself for warmth and comfort. Tails would provide a better balance.
Psychological Changes Emotional indicators, wagging tail (like a dog does) to show happiness Getting upset because someone accidentally would step on the long tails Bigger the tail, more power that person and higher up the hierarchy they'd be.
Reflection:
Although we had quite some time, we didn't make any more ideas. We missed out on the opportunity of making good ideas like 'mother smacking her child XD'
The activity had us breaking the logical barrier/reasoning part in our brains to make up these ideas, which was quite an amazing experience.
All the other presentations were amazing, it was interesting to look at everyone's interpretation of the given situation and how they dealt with it.
